Objective:

The main objective: to support the development of the administrative capacity of public administration to pursue social and environmental public policy goals by ecotourism development.

Result:

The development of a cross-border network of local public administrators able to steer the cross-border development of sustainable tourism at a cross border and Danube level: a network of Danube Officers as described by the EUSDR Annual Forum in Ulm in 2015. The project includes alongside the common training sessions for “Danube officers”, effective cooperation initiatives like: identification of legal barriers for cross-border ecotourism infrastructure, creation of common tourism products, etc.
